Have sauv blanc quite rarely but this was a refreshing change of pace. So juicy with quite expressive white fruits and a bit of florality to balance the minerality. Nice mouthfeel and great acid on the finish.

2013 is lithe and racy, and makes me glad people forget about Menetou-Salon, because a bottle of similar quality Sancerre would easily come in upwards of $30 retail. not that Menetou is the 'affordable' version of any appellation–just the opposite. the saliva coaxing scent of roasted jalapeño, cilantro, salt and lime just begs for a ceviche or fluke carpaccio.
