Bourgogne Chardonnay

Always a fav producer

Ample weight but bright and light on its feet. Sulphuric with yellow apple and wet stone. An excellent start to the night.

Spicy and little bit salty on the nose. Lots of honey and tropical fruits. Need some time to open. 2014 vintage

Great value Bourgogne year after year. Good weight on the palate with notes of yellow stone fruit. Bit of apple and lemon custard as well.

Really young.

GL Burg Pernot tasting 2/8/17. Clean but floral nose with acids on palate and sharp finish.

Restrained nose with mineral, floral notes accenting the crisp lemon, lemon peel and quince fruit notes. Palate displays good energy with citrus fruit and a saline, mineral quality. Lacks just a touch of texture that many 14 white burgs display but quite well balanced.

A lower cost Montrachet from a great producer but doesn't have the wow factor. Probably improves with age. Solid white burg.

Great qpr...citrus, acidic zip, and some weight. Worthy of a case buy for everyday white!
