Deep golden clear color; intensly perfumed and spicy nose of aged peach, pineapple, and marzipan and with a saline earthy minerality; fairly fresh and vibrant taste, clearly alsacian with tropical fruits and garden herbs, and a long complex finish. I am blown away by this case of 12, relatively cheap wines, bought a decade ago. This was the last bottle and I never would have guessed this type of wine would deliver so much pleasure after 11 years. Incredible!
