Côtes du Rhône Red Rhône Blend

Crushed rock and spice abound. Not subtle but good value.

Light brick color. Good mouthful but just a touch too light.

Blind tasted, called Gamay. Very well balanced and fresh.

Balanced, crisp spring red that reminds me of frolicking on a spring afternoon in France. Light on the back end.

Pepper mulberry

This was somewhat light and refined. More of an easy- drink than most others. Still, it had some character.

The elegance in this wine is deceiving. If you're looking for riper, richer, dark CDR, this ain't it. Light in color, well made with show much finesse. Kirsch, strawberry, raspberry and rose petal with super subtle notes of wet earth. Serve with pate, charcuterie, chicken or even white fish.
