Buttered popcorn on the nose, coconut water on the finish. Super lush.?

From 0,17ha in the parcel 'les Pougets' (full south orientation). Starting in 2000, Patrick Javillier began to harvest somewhat earlier to conserve acidity & minerality to balance the richness and natural volume of Corton-Charlemagne. Although I can really feel that, this wine didn't blow me away.

2012 - esposizione calda - tanto sale, erbe aromatiche, mentuccia, basilico e lieve nocciola. Forte la componente aromatica che si esprime in un sorso saporito con buoni impulsi acido/sapidi. In retro olfattiva live nota boisé

Chardonnay in its most seductive suit. Pale gold. The nose hasripe pear, lemon curd, and toasted hazelnut, laced with a smoky mineral edge. On the palate, it’s velvet over stone: generous orchard fruit and honeyed cream cut by crystalline acidity and salinity. It was great now but promises even greater depth as it ages.

Amber in color, but tasted great.
