From 0,17ha in the parcel 'les Pougets' (full south orientation). Starting in 2000, Patrick Javillier began to harvest somewhat earlier to conserve acidity & minerality to balance the richness and natural volume of Corton-Charlemagne. Although I can really feel that, this wine didn't blow me away.

Chardonnay in its most seductive suit. Pale gold. The nose hasripe pear, lemon curd, and toasted hazelnut, laced with a smoky mineral edge. On the palate, it’s velvet over stone: generous orchard fruit and honeyed cream cut by crystalline acidity and salinity. It was great now but promises even greater depth as it ages.
