A funky and crazy mineral/earth laden wine. Needed air. Bruised apple/pear, quince, wooly lanolin funk, smokey rocks, mushrooms, saffron, some sherry-like notes on the nose and palate. There's a lovey honeyed element to the wine that balances the tea leaf notes Chenin can have. Crunchy with terroir out the ass. A cerebral Chenin every time.

Funky nose of bree cheese, saffron, brett, mushrooms, yeast, quince, chalky minerals, and lemon. Salty citrus on the palate, lemon, tart peach, white pepper, granite, and gunpowder. Low alcohol, high mineral notes, and medium plus to high acid. Would match well with soft and fragrant cheeses as well as shellfish.

Straw yellow in color. The nose is pear, lemon rind, and honey. Lots of minerals and salty notes on the palate along with honey, pear nectar, peach, ginger, and savory stuff as well. Low alcohol and high acid. A great match for shellfish and salty cheeses. Sea snail anyone? Fabulous.
