Cuvée Tim Regnie Gamay

Medium Ruby with ripe black fruit and floral scents. On the palate black cherry and blueberry flavors with fine tannins. Medium finish, ok balance ending with ripe fruit and earthy notes. Much better than ‘15 I tried a few years ago. Tasting Sample.

Maybe I am just in the mood for Beaujolais Cru? This would be a fun wine to blind taste, because it really does have a lot to offer at sub $15. Medium tannin structure, concentrated flavors of blackberry cordial, bing cherries, red apples, flint smoke, green and black pepper corns, and a touch of fresh rosemary. Ample acidity, but some balance to it, with a slight evidence of Oak aging. Maybe it is due to this being a 2015, which has been a great vintage for Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Rhone.

Grippy, dark and brooding but still crisp and mineraly

Burgundian style. Great depth for Gamay. Really bloody nice

Fruity and easy! I think it would pair well with stews, beef, sharp cheese....or popcorn!!
This may be my new go to red for the winter.

Thick sip, very smooth

Dec 19,2018. This on really opened up and kept growing on me. A lot going on. Serious cherry, but lots of other complex notes.

Light bodied and elegant. A little cherry in there :)
