Dried strawberry and mulled cherry, forest floor, cedar, with plenty of earthy funk. Enough tannin to take this another decade, but I’m not sure the fruit will go the distance.

Found a case of this in a corner of the cellar & was pleasantly surprised showing nice soft red fruits of cherry & currant also some mineral, dried herbs with layers of floral & spice.

11 Pernand Dubreuil "Berthet": cool, crisp aroma of berry , menthol and touch of animaux. Palate screams Cote de Beaune w lithe sinewy light weight body supported w firm tannins. Well structured, flavour intensity sufficient.
