Domaine Overnoy-Crinquand
Arbois-Pupillin Ploussard
Easy going down; herbal and racy aperitif red. Reductive for sure but fun for the geeky. Hard to tell vintage differences.

Jan 11th, 2020Beautiful ruby amber color. Forest berry and orange peel and white pepper on the nose. A beautiful cranberry tartness and white pepper on palate and a hint of bitterness in the finish. Spicy in the lightest possible way. Magically light bodied... almost the color of rose, but with an unexpected concentration. Chewy and wonderfully textured.

Mar 5th, 2018Reduced and funky at first, with delicate strawberry notes and not too much persistence. After 45 minutes of air (and food) it really blossomed, showing good mid-palate vigor, and a silky texture.
