Lots of deep, ripe, zingy red fruit on the nose. On the palate, that’s augmented by lots of crushed rock. Texturally there’s a lot of fruit initially, but then it tightens up and shows lots of fine, chalky tannin and a slight astringency that pleasantly offsets the fruitiness. Nice balance, especially for such a hot year.

Mon P'tit Pithon 2022. A big red wine that starts with juicy plum and finishes with a dry, earthy grit.
