Anise, prune, raspberry jam fills out a forward nose. Very round on the mouth with a touch a harsh finish. A brick in a velvet glove. Yet I can't get enough.

Late post but I really loved this wine. Very tight, interesting smooth complexity to it. Was on my mind for awhile after drinking...that's always a good sign right? Still a little more found of my Yankee Syrah's so far. They tend to just wallop you in the face and I like it.
