Nose of dry fruits: cherries, ripe strawberries, raisins. Translucent color, light and brilliant. Mild acidity, mild tannins. May need more time to develop character -- finish is clean, brief. No oak: dominant sensation is dry fruit and slight tartness. Enjoyed with goat cheese.

Grapes come through clearly, with a complex bitter overlay. Later some licorice shows up. Fairly tannic.
