
Nose is cooked cherry and rhubarb pie. Dark cherry, ripe strawberry, rhubarb, cinnamon, clove, and fresh raspberry on the palate. Medium alcohol, light tannins, and high acid. Excellent finish with the red fruit notes lingering along with the acid.

Attractive Burg nose that's floral with earth and dark red fruit and hay and mushroom. Palate that's complex and sweet yet balanced with long interesting finish.

Took 5 hours to open up and lose the cellar funk but became great. Earthy, light fruit, mellow acidity and long spicy finish. Not the best vintage but enjoyable for sure.
