Has likely peaked a bit since having enjoyed this three years ago, we forgot about it in the cellar to be honest and after corresponding with the wine maker, he recommended we open it soon so we pulled it out to enjoy with some braised chicken thighs tonight. Still has plenty of zingy acidity but the nose and flavour profile have softened a wee bit. Citrus and stone fruit notes characterize a much better glass than most conventional whites. I’m sad that was my last bottle but grateful to have enjoyed it 2x

Starting the evening off with a fresh and zingy Grenache Blanc + Gris blend. Light lemon colour with a lovely aromatic floral and citrus nose. The palate has hints of almond and lemon zest. Absolutely delicious. Pairing it with mussels in a garlic, leek and white-wine sauce.
