Some brett on the nose which blew off quickly. Then dark cherry, acai and pomegranate with chalky elements - an excellent classic burgundy from a good vintage with the elegance expected from a Chambolle - well worth the wait. Over dinner at Ponsaty's in Rancho Santa Fe.
