#KosherWineSunday

Dark purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Strong nose of black fruits, tobacco, oak, chocolates, light earth, herbs and spices.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black plums, cooked cherries, spices, currants, tobacco, dark chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.

Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 8 year old Syrah blend from Israel is drinking very nicely at this point. Complex, extracted and rich.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes in the decanter.

I had it 4 years ago and it is drinking better now. Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

Good by itself or with food.

A blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Mourvedre. Kosher and not Mevushal. Grapes are grown in the Galilee region and aged for 13 months in French Oak barrels.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$30 (current vintage).
