This is a very nice Syrah blend from Israel. Feels like a Côtes du Rhône red, with a new world twist.
Nice and elegant with a great buttery mouthfeel. Easy drinking and good by itself.
This 3 year old shows nice complexity already, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly and show the complexity.
I paired it with cheeses and olives.
A blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Mourvedre. Aged in French oak barrels for 13 months. Kosher and not Mevushal.

This is a very tasty Syrah from Israel. Showing black fruits with earth, wood, tobacco, chocolates, cloves, coffee, light vegetables and peppercorn.
Full bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Shows like a Northern Rhone Syrah.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, and show the complexity. If you have the patience, 4 hours would be better.
Still young and would be nice to revisit it in 3 years.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.

This 8 year old Syrah blend from Israel is drinking at its peak now. Elegant and nicely balanced. Spicy and fruit forward. Complex and interesting.
I had this vintage 5 years ago, and it is drinking better now. Will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

This 2 year old Rosé from Israel is drinking very nicely now. Showing a wonderful nose with lots of wild flowers.
Dry on the palate with strawberries, raspberries, citrus, limes, green apples, white pepper and light earth.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and refreshing.
Good by itself or with food, and gets earthier as it opens up.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of cheeses, dried fruits and crackers.

This 5 year old white wine from Israel is still drinking very nicely. Rich and elegant.
Showing nice complexity, nicely balanced and soft. Very enjoyable by itself or with food.
Will not get any better from this point, so drink up.

This Chenin Blanc from Israel is drinking very nicely now.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Showing a lovely nose with flowers.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, bitter herbs, spices, light earth and white pepper.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself or with food. I had it a year ago, and it is drinking nicer now.

Dark dense blueish red with some light legs and shiness at the rims 👁
Flowers at first then some dried and ripe berries with hints of black pepper, cloves and some wet soil 👃
Dark dried fruits with light spices and light tannins in the middle of the tongue 👄

Quite pleasant light and easy drinking red.

As it opened up in the glass , the flowers diminished and fruit became the main issue. Had it on it's own . Would probably fit a hamburger or some not too spicy stir fry. — 7 years ago
