Jammy. Lush acidity. Better paired with food than on its own, but I'm a fighter.

Very jammy, velvety texture, sharp finish.

violet to ruby color. minor browning at the edge. pungent, floral, a little sweet. cherries and blackberries. fades to wood on day two. even with breathing, the flavors are fleeting. lovely until they fly.

The wine was medium ruby in appearance. On the nose there was a medium intensity of red fruits, vanilla, strawberry, plum, blackberry. On the palate, the wine was dry with a medium acidity, tannin was low, medium alcohol and a light body. The wine had a lacking balance, an okay finish, not complex at all. Overall a good wine to drink.

Had the white Cote du Rhone. Good acid. Not real complex. A very good blend of Viognier and Roussanne. Some depth of flavors.

Surprisingly juicy & almost too easy to drink. I mean that as both a positive & negative: will buy again.
