Enticing aromatics with red berries & sweet cherries, ripe and very fresh at the same time. A whiff of moss & undergrowth, a touch of spice. Beautiful.
Nice flow & balance on the palate with juicy acidity and a decent (ripe) tannic grip. Very fruity right now but there’s a savoury core as well. Good depth, too.
This is a really nice one, despite the hot(ter) vintage.
