Tasted blind. Light gold color. Dirty nose. Notes of citrus, stone, a little honey, some petrol and some leesy funk. Rich and elegant in the mouth, with lots of power that ramped up over the night. Toasty. More and more acidity. The dirty nose is a trigger for my guess (90 Niellon Batard) and while the "dirty" turns a little towards being corked over the night, the stuffing of this wine suggests it's one of the best old man Niellon has made in the last few decades. May 23rd, 2021Nice medium gold color. Viscous. Notes of lemon, stone, oak, some orange and earth. Amazingly rich in the mouth. Powerful acidity builds over a few hours. So rich, which is evident in the long finish. Along with the Clos St Hune, my white WOTN
