Feb 7th, 2024Impressive red Burgundy by Domaine d’Eugenie’s winemaker Michel Mallard. Fruit from his family’s domaine in Ladoix, possibly Burgundy’s most overlooked appellation (the Côte de Beaune’s northernmost appellation, right next to Corton). 50% whole clusters. Aged for 15 months in 40% new wood casks. Delicate nose with aromas of red fruit, rose petals, clove and some earthy notes. Super silky, feminine. Great elegance and precision

Jan 12th, 2022Rich and inviting dark red fruit in the nose. You know it’s going to be great before you take the first sip. Really heady and sexy. Explodes on the palate with smoke and dark cherry. Yum.
