This was very very nice. A big fruity wine. Very concentrated at this point. Supposedly the producer is known to be rather generous with new oak, but it seemed well integrated. ‘99 red burg continues to be a bit of a personal obsession.

Opened daly then a little silky with some spice. Had weird astringent taste for about twenty mins.
