Tough to properly review at this point. It's just way too young. Maybe if we had been able to decant for 3 hours, we would have experienced what the bottle has to offer. The nose was amazing. It'll probably be spectacular by 2016.

Fruit forward, lighter brighter style of CDP, easy drinking, lingering earth and dried spices

Still a baby but already showing nice rich fruit, dark tobacco notes. Yum! #cdp

2017 vintage. Solid 8.5-9. Despite knowingly opening this bottle a little young, the time and the dinner was absolutely right. Overall, after a tight opening, 30-40 minutes in the decanter revealed a wonderfully harmonious account of CDP. Colour: Medium ruby. Aroma/flavour profile: cherry, dark berry, plum deliver a perfect level of acid that was a little higher than usual which told me it was ready to sit a little longer. Structured tannin on the mid palate. Lovely long finish of smoke and allspice.
