Darker fruits, dried black tea, and woodsy notes. Still some years in the cellar to develop those tertiary notes.

Fabulous bottle.

Also spicy, peppery notes, but more black cherry than the 07.

Of a piece, but big and overblown.

Floral, mineral, spice. Bright and clear, brilliant acid finish.

Red primary fruits w/ a balsamic touch to it. Fluffy yet playful velvety texture. Med acidity and good friendly grip of tannin. Quite oaky, but integrated. Lovely bottle from a great producer.

Lush bright red fruit. Just the right acidity so that it’s not too jammy. The first sip almost tasted like a new world Pinot and then it develops much more elegantly in a more old world style. Paired perfectly with a burrata, beats, prosciutto and truffle salt salad. #fatoffwinnings
