D’angerville taking his talents to the Jura. The result is downright addictive. It has the Jurassic nutty / oxidized thing but it’s subtle, meanwhile it’s bringing all kinds of lemon-lime inflected acid on the front, crushed stones, deft use of malo and toast, acacia honey and an almost chassagne-like hazelnut. Absolutely killer

Oct 3rd, 2020Winefanticide was committed but I was too intrigued by the Angerville Jura project to resist. This wine is defined by lime citrus notes and a silky texture. The palate is preceded by alluring sage, lemon curd and salted toffee on the nose. Don’t be afraid to age for 20 years

Jul 5th, 2019Most interesting. Cashew nuts and mild oxidative notes. Creamy, rich palate of apples, citrus and a bit of tropical under pinning. Honeyed, waxy finish. We did not find the oak overdone. We enjoyed it and consensus was to buy more. 91-92ish.
