My goodness. Smells like Puligny with a Mâcon accent. Unreal aromatics. The palate is deep, elegant and remarkably rich, with salinity, acidity, perfect balance and tremendous depth. Incredible salty minerality. Still very young and needs time. Limestone-dominant soils with a little clay.

Jun 20th, 2026Fantastic bottle of Macon. Mineral as all can be with real density, sap, weight and precision. Compelling. Nose is meyer lemon and so saline. Palate has uncanny finesse. Outrageous fruit and concentration. So dense and fine. Terrific on day 2. Rounded, but still has that piercing minerality and density. Long, tangy finish and the nose has a honeyed quality along wirh an intense mineral/floral thing.

Mar 17th, 2026Nose is lemony and mineral. Grassy notes as well and so clean. Like an air spray of Macon. Some deep green apple and pear scents as it airs. Palate is so juicy and my goodness is this mineral. Steely and intense with some green apple skin and terrific purity and freshness. Great concentration and so lean. This is the polar opposite of the “fat Macon.” Really chewy, dense and structured. Awesome sweet spring like fruit and a terrific finish. Wow this is getting very aromatically complex with some air.

Nose: crazy density. Very complex. Mineral. Lots of hard to define flavors. Candied lemon peel? Almost an elegant nuttiness? White flowers as it opens. Wisps of vanilla. Lemon flower. Yellow melon. 9.7 nose. At least.
Palate: elegantly rich. Sweet minerals. Elegant balancing acidity. Delicious. So juicy. There is something so expansive about the palate presence. Lacks elite density or this would be higher.
Wow. Maybe the greatest white burgundy value ever.
Changes in the glass. A fascinating drink. Really. Just get a baguette, some butter and smoked fish and hang out for an evening. Maybe some Camembert. O
