Jan 16th, 2015Strawberry, red currant and red cherries on the nose. Definitely picked neutral French oak with spicy notes to it. Moderate acidity, medium plus tannins and more Pinot Noir’ish burgundian finish with minearlity that has mellowed the fruity notes on the palate! This dog will age easily for another 5 yrs. Maybe wholecluster too...This is a winemaker doing more serious Beaujolais! Great for the price. Purportedly Lucien Lardy Chardonnay’s are exceptional for their price.

This wine was even better on night two (with the help from Coravin). Beautiful supple texture, big long finish. Simply gorgeous Beaujolais Just 300 cases produced. Thanks JR!
