Very nice premier cru Volnay with a touch of age - certainly could use more as the tannins are a hair less than silky smooth on the finish. Deep red in the glass with lots of red fruit with some good earth as well. Excellent acid on the persistent finish.

Very enjoyable wine. Long dark cherry finish. Lots of tertiary notes. A little bit of wet sock but still very enjoyable.
