Tightly wound in its youth but already showing great varietal character with medium acidity and wonderful aromas and flavors of peach, lemon, clove spice, apple and straw for a urpriding hint of earthiness. There is a vivacious core of minterality in this wine and it is marvelously long on the palate

To hell with „elegant” Viognier! This is full blown, peachy jammy and impressive.

I’m not very experienced with Condrieu, but knowing what younger stuff offers, this feels past its prime. There’s a sherbet nose and a very full butterscotch nose. That’s about it.

So beautiful over an hour.. it actually needs some air to show the qualities I wanted/expected: poached pear, not wax but film if you will, white peach, lemon zest, some apple juice, mandarin zest. Pretty dry. This is heavenly. Sipping this and I just think of a fine chablis's cousin. Not as heavy as an aged chard and light color compared to an aged Viognier. $35 buy.
