Top Notes For
Young, talented winemaker building a reputation for his Rieslings, but this Gewürztraminer is very nice, too.
Bouquet is leaning to floral nuances, not so much to the usual tropical fruit/lychee kind of thing. There's apricotjam, sweaty minerality, lavender soap and a whiff of kirsch as well. I notice some sweetness in the entree, but it's not cloying, tiring or plump. Well balanced, a very fine maybe even elegant Gewürz!
