This has so many things I like and expect from the "new" Loire Chenin.

What a wonderful blend of chenin with sharp southwest white grapes! You can really feel the balance of the broad, peach-y qualities with the laser focus and lemon zest acidity. Fantastic wine.

This review is for the chenin colombard and ugni blanc blend. Bright and crisp. High acidity. Dry but with some subtle stone fruit notes.

Yum. Drank this with roasted vegetables, quinoa, and pistachio-crusted baked trout.

Reminds me somewhat of Wind Gap's Trousseau Gris. So approachable and sensibly priced. The nose expresses heavy aromas of freshly cut peaches, subtle grey ash and maybe a bit indistinct but it smells of wet stone. Great minerality and the mouth feel is simply electrifying. This wine is energetic enough to put a smile to my face, literally. I'd like to think that the passion of the winemaker is being conveyed through the wine itself. I'd buy a case just for everyday drinking.
