Delish in the future seen in this wine. It has beautiful balance char depth and herbs. Love the black olive, Forrest floor and oaky soft notes

Golly this is good. It appeals to my tastebuds tho for this region I might expect riper fruit? This wine was dang tart but maybe that is just the bracing minerality speaking up. Bracing. That is this. All is fruity and good and then it is just a good hit of licking a slate rock and peppercorn. We are so all licking rocks no?

8 years on This ganache, Syrah, cinsault and clairette blend has arrived. This is a big ripe wine but not over the top. A bit of acidity to encourage more sips. Just a bit of a sharp note on the finish mars the impact. Don’t usually fall for these wines anymore but this is ready for red meat dining

This half bottle of mostly Grenache was drinking perfect now. Fresh flowers with a bit of stewed cherry and suede hinting at coming of age... also evidenced by the slight bricking around the edge of a deep purple core. More please.

Drinking the bottle we bought this weekend. Even better.

Man the 2015s in Gigondas are so good. Black and boysenberry compote, crushed black cherries, ripe blueberry. Classic mix of garrigue, brown spice, and mix of pleasantly astringent herbs. Floral throughout. Elegantly structured with its bright ruby hue, silky tannin, and noticeably fresh acid profile from a dollop of Cinsault and Clairette.
