I LOVE this bargain Crozes. Classic nose of earthy cracked black pepper, spicy blackberry fruit, savory minerals. Soft and mouthfilling. Nice acid balance. Clingy, mellow savory finish. Nice!

Smells of sweet grass and a barnyard.
A large strapping wine, both in mouthfeel, and heft.
Minty, gravelly, horehound, sweet grass, herbaceous and savory cracked pepper.
This is a meal on its own, throw the food away now, this is meant to be acknowledged solo.
Heard.

Nose is typical Syrah...blackberry, leather, black olive. Palate is lighter than I’d expect. More fruit forward (blackberry jam) with some and restrained tannins. Balanced by decent acid. Pretty easy to drink for a Syrah. Good value and I’d get again.
