Cuvée Gabrielle Côtes du Rhône Villages

This is a super ‘15! Cherry, cranberry and blueberries in a gentle liqueur. Lean tannins and an early Spring rain nose.

2010, a special vintage!

Ok. Not fruity like expected which was good but a lot of tobacco and leather. Got better as it opened but didn’t like enough to get again. Kurt wine.

Wine from around the corner. Licorice, juicy meat, broth, raspberry en ripe strawberry, elegant yet concentrated. Intriguing. Some tannin comes peeping through after a few sips. This will shine at age 5 to 8, I guess. Somewhere between a C9dP and a Lirac.

Still too fruit forward for me, but definitely superior to the Trois Soeurs by a considerable amount. Plum, currant, blackberry up front followed by some nice floral notes. Alcohol is a bit too high.

Gift from friends. Very nice with boeuf bourgignon! Not really my thing. Had a finish I didn't love.

Beautiful wine. For the price it's pretty amazing. All you want in a Rhone red!!

Dark, purple, opaque. Dark fruits, something I can't name, hot alcohol on nose. Felt a bit... grainy? in texture and maybe more acidic than I prefer on palate on its own. Woulda liked to try with food.

2nd bottle from the Garagiste mystery box. Easy drinking. Nothing remarkable.
