Séduction Crozes-Hermitage Red Rhone Blend

Another blind Kebab wine…everyone else said Syrah right away but this one kind of confused me, wasn’t sure if it was Cote Rotie or CA. Blind tasting can be humbling. Beautiful blue black fruit and very concentrated.

Simply awesome. Nose of ripe blackberry, almost a coulis, lovely granite and olive and smoke. Gorgeous. So pure and deep. Rich and ripe with beautiful pure blackberry and raspberry fruit and loaded with granite, smoke and olive. Elegant and velvety tannins and terrific acidity and freshness.

Seducing me as always. Gorgeous nose. White pepper, black pepper, mint, dripping blackberry fruit, leather and spices.

Palate is dense, sweet and explosive. Amazing fruit quality and purity. Granitic kick on the crunchy finish. Wonderfully fine tannins and perfect balance. Long juicy finish. Terrific wine.

This is a stunning Crozes. Big, inky nose, with bacon and olive. Deep aromas. Mashed flowers as well. Dark black fruits. Granite in the background. So seductive. Name makes sense. Ripe and juicy with a plump mid palate and terrific ripe yet prominent tannins on the finish. Long, granite infused blackberry finish, and of course a distant note of fresh black pepper. This is a great wine.

70+ year old wines, deep nose. Big, rich, inky, big forceful tannins. Terrific purity and freshness. Long. Young. Needs 10 years.
