Third time tasting; always a pleasure

Wow!! Brown spice, floral perfume, crushed berry. Amazing wine!

Absolutely intoxicating aromas of crushed wild berries, asian & brown spices, purple floral. Densely packed fruit and spice on the palate too. Simply fantastic!

Bricking. Expansive and aromatic but not as youthful as expected.

Wow, what an incredible wine to sample.

Classic leroy funk. A bit more oxidation and VA than other bottles. Tasty none the less.

Light fragrant nose. Palate was a little thin slightly dry. Medium finish.

Bricking around the edge. Opened up in the glass after a few hours with sage and earth. Lacking a bit in the fruit department. Doesn't come with a hat, but the hats at optimo are great.

Very closed. So much to be had there someday, just not today!! Can't wait to try it again in 10 years.. #lapaulee
