Apr 13th, 2017Pretty as can be. Probably from 2012 release, gorgeous aromatics that developed depth and earthiness throughout evening. Floral, tobacco leaf. Palate was weightless with amazing purity of fruit that richened-up with air and as it warmed. Tasted alongside the 1962 La Romanee.

Yeah so that happened. '53. Not off the chart spectacular like the other one but pretty special. Cork mostly intact. Advanced but gee go figure. Dirt n leather, just like a good date
