Very pretty translucent fruit with a slightly tangy edge. Rose, delicate tea and some more serious blue stuff in the middle. This is very poised, ethereal and pretty. Ok, wow

Amazing richness of fruit right from the get go. Tasted alongside 1962 Musigny, the LR was the favorite out of the gates but was slowly and slightly surpassed later on. Fully resolved tannin, still good acidity. Extremely lovely and feminine. This may have been an original bottling or at least from a release 2-3
decades ago. A treat to try, esp with the Musigny
