A little cold with a reductive nose. Everything is there but just needs time. The 2014 was much more accessible. A pleasure to have tried this but pity to have tried it so soon.

Reductive nose, sandalwood, dark cherries/berries, airy but with density. Smooth coating on the palate with energy. The regal nose reminded me of a Liger Belair Premier Cru. I haven't had enough to pinpoint the Leroy style but this is extremely lovely.

Ok - it has been a festival of incredible wine here at the Nicolas-Jay shareholder meeting

Earthy, slight grassy, vegetal, full body, unfiltered, characteristic of Gevrey. Blend of 3 different villages in Chambertin. Showing a bit of 2004 vintage.

Very open for a 2005, so refined and complex, really at Premier Cru level.

1985 Maison Leroy Gevrey Chambertin. Nice village, very masculine, a solid but unexciting wine.
