Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay

Really open with ripe honeyed fruit and oyster shell minerality underneath. Yellow flowers, a rich mouthfeel. Lush and opulent. Surprisingly advanced but very enjoyable.

Light gold. Expressive and bright with white flowers, great minerality and a honeyed lemon note. Broad and long. Years ahead. In theory.

Super young and primary shows great promise no signs of pre-mox here!

This has a glorious nose- wide open and sexy. Lemon notes and broad honeyed complexity with real length. Delicious

Almost Chablis like on the nose with real lift and lime. Corton like on the nose. Great presence. Wonderful stuff.

A brightness on the nose. Lemon oil and white flowers. On the palate lovely body and concentration with a light minerality and beautiful acidity. Very approachable now and long. Fun!

When Leflaive is on, its on. Absolutely singing.

Light lemon colour. Quite rich ripe white fruits, slightly roasted notes. Hazelnut. On the palate very well balanced , high acidity but lots of white fruits, lemon. Long finish, really excellent . Young, but approachable now , I imagine it will improve for a few years and last well for another 15 perhaps . A great wine. In fact the last glass I kept until the following evening , and the wine improved considerably . Much more complex after a day open : buttered vanilla popcorn and lemon curd I noticed with a great mineral backbone fantastic length.
