A really strong vintage for this fantastic and rather consistent producer. Delicious, ripe brambles and garrigue. The tannic monster comes out after about an hour of air. Very young still but very easy to drink now.

Lots of bright red fruits, just a hint of funk. Tightly wound at this stage. Zippy and tannic. Enjoyable now but this will be even more interesting after it calms down a bit; thinking 2020.

Sharp on the tip of my tongue. Crushed rock, black pepper.

Bright cherry with a bloody gamey side that would make Dexter happy. Definitely not from Cali. Nice QPR.

Gave this wine a 9.2 when tasted last year. Still a solid wine but starting to transition away from fruit to more nuanced aromas. Still a nice, comfortable wine.

Ripe raspberries, black cherry, thyme, pepper and licorice leap from the glass. 25 pct Syrah adds nice bacon fat, violets aromas. I'm a fan.

My new favorite cote du rhone varietal. Dark berries, Earthy... Beautious Old World profile. Needs an hour to open & relax. This 2017 was enjoyed in 2023.
