A lovely lunch tipple. Classic burg nose. Some night light red fruit on the nose - smooth and drinking well albeit a big dry on the palate. Probably needs a few years for the tannins to resolve and be more rounded on the palate. A touch dry in the mid-palate for now.

Very expressive, vibrant fruit forward with a great mineral edge. Narrow, medium body, very balanced and a soothing finish!

Jan 20th, 2019Decanted for 60 minutes but aromas of dirt, earthiness, and black cherry pop right away. Black currant, blackberries, and earthiness on the palate. Tannins are showing slightly still but this is definitely approachable now.
Hard to beat for $20.
Rated a 9.1 on wine but a much higher score based on PQR.
