Domaine Laguerre
Eos Côtes du Roussillon Blanc
Côtes du Roussillon, Roussillon, Languedoc Roussillon, France
Very floral with pleasing notes of wildflowers, honeysuckle, quince. A touch cloying on the back end but with good roundness and acidity to keep things balanced. Nice value

This young white blend is 40% Grenache Blanc, 40% Maccabeu, 20% Rolle. It is floral, medium bodied (light side) and crisp. My friend described it as “incredibly overwhelming”. I’m not so sure if that’s true 🤐

Dec 3rd, 2020Good but lacking a lot of flavor or nose. flinty, limestone?, bright but not overly acidic. Minerals and light herbs.

Oct 2nd, 2020An insane value. Light, easy, balanced, and powered by a Grenache blanc + Maccabeu + Rolle trifecta I'd not encountered.

Nov 8th, 2017A notch over the already good 2014, thanks to a little more acidity.
