Stoney dark fruit with some garrigue and southern herbs and a touch of pencil shavings. On the palate fruity yet restrained, with elegant blackberry and blueberry, some stoney austerity, a touch of black pepper and some leather. Great acidity for Roussillon, a nice, slightly rustic tannic grip and brilliant drinkability. This a a wine that really overdelivers.
