Vacqueyras Red Rhône Blend
Vacqueyras, Southern Rhône, Rhône, France

Grenache heavy blend by taste. Nice red fruit and spice. Some bitterness on finish. A bit thin and one dimensional.

2021 vintage. Last tasted 3.19.25 (9.2). Decanted and tasted after one hour. Was medium-medium heavy body but gained some weight in the last year. Now medium heavy. Smoky nose. Velveteen fruit. Nice spice complexities on the delish finish. Pre-tariff resto cost was $19.90 a bottle. 70% Grenache. 15% Syrah. 15% Mourvèdre. Absolute steal. 1.30.26.
