Château Roubine

Cru Classé Premium Côtes de Provence Red Blend 2022

The description: This bright, sunny, light-to-medium-bodied, salmon-coloured beauty is an elegantly crisp, refreshing, well-balanced, and deliciously dry Côtes de Provence Rosé. This Cru Classé is made mainly from the local Provençal grape variety Tibouren, together with some Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Mourvèdre.

The opinion: Very good. Taste gets deeper the more you hold it in your mouth.

Dry but still manages to be refreshing. An undertone of smokiness. Perfect to kill summer. — 9 years ago

Gigondas Red Rhone Blend 2021

2021 vintage. Medium-heavy body (which, for a Gigondas, is interesting). Big nose, big spice, big extraction. California-styled Gigondas/wannabe CDP but it worked...esp for the ca$hi$h. Pork chops or fowl forever! 4.17.24. — 8 months ago

Started as a basic Rhone but really opened up into something a little richer over time. Very good. Mostly dry with just a hint of jammy sweetness. — 6 years ago
