Admittedly, I personally believe it can be an acquired taste if you're used to more fruit forward red wines, but once you catch the bug, it's hard not to love it's freshness and vibrancy. It's quite the expressive grape, and this wine is a perfect example of that. Earthy and terroir driven but perfectly light and easy to drink, it's a great BBQ wine or with tuna based ceviche or sushi. It can really stand up to most red meat dishes that need a little zing to them.
