2011 La Colombe Noire Pinot Noir, Vaud, Switzerland. 50 year old vines. Yield of 40hl/ha. Up to 20 days fermentation. 14 months elevage. Medium ruby hue. Dark fruit profile. Leathery, smokey. Dark cherry flavour on palate, medium alcohol and body. Light tannins - slightly crunchy. Acidity towards high. Medium plus finish. Not bad. Wouldn't rush to buy more though.
