This is a delicious Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Still young, but already easy drinking and very approachable. Rich and powerful, elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and entertaining. Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.

100% Grenache grapes from 100 year old vines, were aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and concrete vats. A small production of less than 3,500 bottles.

Too rich for my blood, but as the name suggests, it had a lovely purity. Sweet black cherries, violets, pepper, and hints of olive tapenade. Very sweet, concentrated, and full-bodied on the palate. Was looking for more elegance.

Very rich and broad. Succulent dark fruit with lovely plummy Grenache, a hint of tobacco and dried herbs, but this is is a vivid and ripe wine with almost tangy acidity. A modern CNdP but gorgeous dark fruit.
