How can you ever go wrong with a white burg / Chablis unless you did not get a drop - bravo ladies so the pick but not leaving me any - shame on you 😂😂😂

Beautiful wine - blind tasted and called it Chenin Blanc from Loire, but I probably should have gone Burg Chard from the get go. Light, crisp, and delicious.

Way more Chardonnay than Chablis. They even wrote it on the label for me.

Light, crispy, mineral, but not intense as expected for Chablis.

Beautiful Sauternes-like bouquet. Honey and sweet green melon. Dried apricots. Minerality and wet limestone. Light salt and vegetal tones. Barely any acid tones. Very light body and mild floral honey on the palate. Cream vanilla opening up as it warms up in the glass. 13.5%

Pale golden hue. Moderate tearing. Nose offers fresh pear, peach, star fruit, melon, apricot, with flinty, and delicate honeysuckle notes.

Paired with grilled sea scallops, on top of sautéed spinach, cherry tomatoes, and spiralized zucchini, with a champagne vinaigrette and lavender honey sauce, and Parmesan cheese.

Great on a warm Texas day. Can’t go wrong with a Cru. We got it from Total Wine.
